Jean Taylor, CK
Jean Taylor is a Certified Kinesiologist providing rehabilitation to individuals in community and institutional settings for a variety of impairments including orthopaedic, brain injury, chronic pain, and psychiatric disorders. Jean has been working as a Rehabilitation Counsellor providing social and vocational rehabilitation over the past fifteen years. Jean has achieved Level 1 and Level 2 certification offered by Brock University and Ontario Brain Injury Association in the areas of Home and Community Based Rehabilitation and Neurobehavioural Interventions. Jean has has held executive positions on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of Waterloo Wellington for over ten years.
Alison Meyer, CK
Alison Meyer is a Certified Kinesiologist providing vocational counseling and case management services to individuals in community and institutional settings. Alison has worked with a variety of impairments including orthopaedic, brain injury, chronic pain and psychiatric disorders. Alison has been working as a Rehabilitation Counsellor providing social and vocational rehabilitation and case management services since 2008. Previously Alison spent 10 years working one-on-one with individuals of all ages and various abilities helping them achieve physical and health goals. In 2009 Alison co-facilitated a pilot program called Care To Share, designed to support and educate caregivers of Acquired Brain Injury survivors. Alison has completed Level 1 and Level 2 certification offered by Brock University and the Ontario Brain Injury Association in the area of Brain Injury Rehabilitation. She is a Certified Life Care Planner through the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC).
